The
HP-16C
uses
Reverse
Polish
Notation
(RPN)
to
solve
complicated
calculations
without
parentheses
and
with
a
mini-
mum
of
keystrokes.
Using
the
memory
stack
and
the
key,
the
calculator
automatically
retains
and
returns
intermediate
results.
This
section
discusses
the
operation
of
the
calculator
stack,
which
is
fundamental
to
the
use
of
the
HP-16C
in
all
modes,
including
programming.
