you
performed
on
vectors also
apply
to matrices
(with
the
exception
of
the
dot
and
cross products).
You
can
multiply
or
divide
a matrix
by
a
number,
and
you
can
add
or
subtract
two
matrices
(provided
that
the
matrices
have
the
same
dimensions).

Viewing a Large
Matrix
When
a matrix
has
many
elements
or
non-integer
elements,
you
may
not
see
the
entire
matrix
at
once.
To
view
a large matrix,
use
.1
EDIT
I
(if
the
matrix is
in
level 1)
or
.1
VISIT
I to
return
the
matrix to
the
com-
mand
line.
You
can
then
use
the
cursor
menu
keys to
display
any
part
of
the
matrix. For details, refer to HEditing Existing Objects
