The
Stack
as a List
The
contents
of
the
stack are equivalent to
the
contents
of
a
list-that
is, a
sequence
of objects.
You
can
put
all of
the
objects
on
the
stack
into
a single list
by
executing
DEPTH
-LIST.
The
command
DEPTH
returns
the
number
of
objects
on
the
stack,
and
the
command
-LIST
(stack
to
list)
combines
the
specified
number
of
objects
into
a list.
More often, a list is fiopened"
onto
the
stack
by
the
command
LIST-
(list
to
stack). After
the
elements
are
manipulated
on
the
stack,
they
may
be
recombined
into
a list
by
the
command
-LIST. For examples
of
these
commands,
see fiMEDIAN
(Median
of Statistics Data)"
on
page
273.
