The variables in the current equation appear in the Solver menu. (If
the equation contains more than six variables, pressing 1 NEXT 1 displays
additional rows of variables.)
This
menu looks different from the USER menu because it works dif-
ferently:
the Solver menu stores values in variables rather than
evaluating variables.
Now you can assign values to the variables Rl, R2, and R3. First store
the number 8 in the variable Rl.

Pressing [=£~C] is equivalent to putting 'R 1 ' on the stack and press-
ing 1 STD I. Note that the top line of the display shows the variable
