Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Place the computer in Battery Safe mode (Battery Safe mode on page 29).
3. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 30).
4. Remove the battery (Battery on page 31).
Remove the speaker assembly:
1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1).
2. Remove the antenna cables from the channel in the right speaker (2).
3. Remove the display cable from the channel in the left speaker (3).
4. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 5.5 screws (4) that secure the speakers to the computer.
5. Remove the speakers from the computer (5).
Reverse this procedure to install the speaker assembly.
