5. Using your fingers, press the visible edge of the optical disc drive toward the side of the
computer to push the drive partially out of the computer. Grasp the front end of the drive and pull
the drive out of the computer.

6. If you need to remove the drive bracket from the drive, remove the two screws (1) that secure
the bracket to the drive, and then remove the bracket from the drive (2).
NOTE: Optical drive spare part kits do not include replacement brackets.

To install an optical drive, reverse the removal procedures.
