NOTE: The card reader board cable is also available in the Cable Kit as spare part number L81305-001.

Before removing the card reader board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 34).
2. Place the computer in Battery Safe mode (Battery Safe mode on page 34).
3. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 36).
4. Remove the battery (Battery on page 35).
Remove the card reader board:
1. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (1) that secure the card reader board to the computer.
2. Lift the board up so you can access the connectors underneath (2).
3. Disconnect the card reader board cable from the card reader board ZIF connector (1).
4. Disconnect the RTC battery from the card reader board (2).
