Displaying 802.1X Configuration, Statistics, and Counters 
show port-access authenticator (Syntax Continued) 
config [< port-list >] 
Shows: 
•  Whether port-access authenticator is active 
•  The 802.1X configuration of ports configured as 
802.1X authenticators (For descriptions of these 
elements, refer to the syntax descriptions under 
“1. 
Enable 802.1X Authentication on Selected Ports” on 
page 10-15. Use show running to view the current 
client-limit configuration available for 5300xl 
switches on software release E.09.xx or greater.) 
Without < port-list >, the command lists ports configured 
as 802.1X port-access authenticators. Does not display 
data for a port not enabled as an authenticator. 
statistics [< port-list >] 
Shows: 
•  Whether port-access authenticator is active 
•  The statistics of the ports configured as 802.1X 
authenticators, including the supplicant’s MAC 
address, as determined by the content of the last 
EAPOL frame received on the port. 
Does not display data for a specified port that is not 
enabled as an authenticator. 
session-counters [< port-list >] 
Shows whether port-access authenticator is active, and 
includes the session status on the specified ports con
-
figured as 802.1X authenticators 
Also, for each port, the “User” column lists the user 
name the supplicant used in its response packet. (For 
the switch, this is the identity setting included in the 
supplicant 
command—page 
10-40.) Does not display 
data for a specified port that is not an authenticator. 
vlan [< port-list >] 
Shows per-port: 
■  The Access Control setting (control command on 
page 
10-16)
■  Unauth-VLAN ID (if any) 
■  Auth-VLAN ID (if any)
