Remove the expansion slot cover.
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all PCI slots
have either an expansion slot cover or an expansion board installed.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Removing expansion slot covers 2 and 3
1. Extend or remove the server from the rack ("Extend the server from the rack" on page 28).
2. Remove the access panel ("Removing the access panel" on page 29).
3. Open the PCI riser cage door.
