Installing the BBWCE
1. Power down the server. Refer to “Powering down the server” in Chapter 2,
“Server operations.”
2. Extend the server from the rack. Refer to “Extending the server from the rack” in
Chapter 2, “Server operations.”
3. Remove the access panel. Refer to “Removing the access panel” in Chapter 2,
“Server operations.”
4. Remove all PCI-X cables and any cards that might be installed.
5. Remove all processor memory boards. Refer to the “Processor memory boards”
section in this chapter.
6. Remove the front fan cage.
