Connect the power cables from the backplane expander kit option to the power connectors on the
system board.
o Installing one backplane expander option
o Installing two backplanes with expander option
11. Disconnect all the existing mini-SAS cables from the server.
12. Connect the mini-SAS cables from the backplane expander option to the connectors on the system
board.
