Computer Cover
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 61).
CAUTION: Before removing the computer cover, ensure that the computer is turned off and that
the power cord is disconnected from the electrical outlet.
2. Press in on the tabs (1) on each side of the computer to release the latches that secure the cover
to the computer chassis.
3. Slide the computer cover forward (2) about 1.3 cm (1/2 inch), then lift it off the chassis.

To install the computer cover, reverse the removal procedure.
