Primary 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 61).
2. Remove the computer cover (
Computer Cover on page 64).
3. Raise the drive cage to its upright position.

4. If an optical drive is installed, disconnect the power cable and data cable from the back of the optical
drive.
5. Disconnect the data cable (1) and power cable (2) from the back of the primary hard drive.
