NOTE: The Configuration Interface and the on-system CLI are not localized.
Enhancements
The 10.0 release is a comprehensive release that includes enhancements in the following areas:
• Fibre Channel support in the HP LeftHand Storage environment, including a new Fibre
Channel-capable storage system, the HP StoreVirtual 4330 FC
• Active Directory integration to allow administrators to manage user authentication to HP LeftHand
Storage via the Microsoft Windows Active Directory framework
• Windows Server 2012 support
• Online Upgrade enhancements including the following:
Patch classifications to inform users whether a patch is critical, recommended, or optional◦
◦ Patch release notes delivered via Online Upgrades
◦ Expanded support for component firmware upgrades including disk firmware
◦ Customer notifications delivered via Online Upgrades
◦ Support for using a proxy server to access the Online Upgrade ftp sites
• Quorum Alarms now proactively warn of system manager misconfigurations that put data
availability at risk. Previously the Best Practice Analyzer flagged this information in Systems running
managers.
