PACKAGING
The pumps are normally packed in wooden crates (Fig. 04) and wrapped with a plastic lm for
protection in case they are sent by ship.
The following containers are used:
Pump crate GL-GLR series (1 pc.) size: 69x68x48 cm weighing kg 16
Other packagings can of course be used upon specic request from the customer, ideal for how they
are going to be transported and the relative means. The packagings must be handled and opened as
instructed on the packagings themselves. To handle crates or packagings and parts weighing more
than 20 kg, use a fork lift truck or transpallet suitable for the gross weight specied on the shipping
document.
TRANSPORT
When transporting, we recommend handling the pumps as you would fragile goods in order to avoid
damaging them.
Appropriate lifting means should be used to handle and position the pumps without knocks and
bumps which could damage them.
WARNING: lift very slowly to avoid sudden unbalancing of the weight.
WARNING: observe all the safety conditions when handling the material.
