RECEIPT
Upon receipt of the goods and, if possible, in presence of the carrier, check integrity of the material
and packaging. Report any damage found immediately to the carrier and get him to sign the
complaint.
Check that what has been delivered is exactly what is on the order (quantity and type of material) and
that the relative operating and maintenance manual is included.
WARNING: dispose of all waste material in accordance with current laws.
WARNING: observe all the safety conditions when handling the material.
STORAGE
It is absolutely forbidden to store the pump outdoors, in damp places or directly on the oor. If
the pump is to be stored for more than 60 days, protect the coupling surfaces with an appropriate
antioxidant product (such as TEXIL, PRS, etc.).
In the case of storage for more than 2 months, the pump must be lled completely with oil. Cover the
external, machined but unvarnished parts with grease to prevent rusting (centring devices, couplings,
etc.).
Protect the pumps from dirt and dust.
For storage times exceeding 6 months, watertightness of the seals inside the pumps is no longer
guaranteed. When installing, check the seals for leaks and/or replace them.
It is also necessary to check that the valves are working properly.
Change the oil inside the pump and ll up to the correct level through the plugs.
COMMISSIONING
INSTALLATION
Install the pump where safe access is guaranteed to the people inspecting and servicing.
If necessary, arrange for a container in which to collect water from leaks, drains, pipe maintenance, etc.
Install the pump horizontally, with a maximum permitted slant of 3° ÷ 5°.
Where the pump stands must be level and suciently rigid to prevent any misalignment between it
and the motor and any vibrations when working.
For xing use the four M14 threaded supporting feet, 28 mm depth, made out of the pump base.
