6.2 System Power-On
Prerequisites
Before turning on the AC switch between the SUN2000 and the power grid, use a
multimeter to check that the AC voltage is within the allowed range.
Before the equipment is put into operation for the rst time, ensure that the
parameters are set correctly by professional personnel. Incorrect parameter
settings may result in noncompliance with local grid connection requirements and
aect the normal operations of the equipment.
● If the DC power supply is connected but the AC power supply is disconnected,
the SUN2000 will report a Grid Loss alarm. The SUN2000 can start properly
only after the power grid recovers.
● If the AC power supply is connected but the battery is not connected, the
SUN2000 reports a Battery Abnormal alarm.
● If the SUN2000 is connected to LG batteries, turn on the DC switch within 1
minute after the AC switch is turned on. Otherwise, the SUN2000, connected to
the power grid, will shut down and start again.
Procedure
Step 1 If the battery port of the SUN2000 is connected to a battery, turn on the auxiliary
power switch of the battery and then the battery switch.
Step 2 Turn on the AC switch between the SUN2000 and the power grid.
Step 3 (Optional) Remove the locking screw from the DC switch.
