Press the Shutter button on the camera to take a picture (you will hear a
shutter sound).
You can also take a picture by tapping the Camera icon that appears on the
Connect 12 screen.
TOGGLING BETWEEN THE DISTANCE CAMERA AND
MAGNIFIER
During a lecture, you may want to switch between the distance camera and
magnifier mode to note down what the teacher is writing on the board. To do this,
swipe your finger on the screen from left to right (repeat to return to the previous
view).
USING THE DISTANCE CAMERA AND MAGNIFIER
SIMULTANEOUSLY
To use the distance camera and magnifier simultaneously, tap the arrow on the
right side of the screen and the screen will split horizontally into two with the
distance camera in the top section and the magnifier view at the bottom section.
You will notice a red outline around the top or bottom view, this indicates which
section is selected. To revert to full screen mode in one of the views, select a
view by tapping it twice to return to full screen mode.
To take a capture without leaving split screen mode, select the view that you
wish to capture by tapping it, then long-press in the view to take the capture (you
will hear a shutter sound).
VIEWING DISTANCE CAMERA IMAGES
Pictures taken with the Distance camera can be viewed in the Gallery.
Tap the Gallery icon in the carousel menu.
