Repair instructions
Carburettor – removal

Remove the cylinder cover and air filter.
Disconnect the leads from the stop switch.

Disengage and prise out the spring from the
carburettor and disconnect the throttle pushrod.
Press the carburettor throttle lever towards the
cylinder while pressing the throttle pushrod to-
wards the rubber inlet manifold with your other
hand so that the pushrod is released and can be
withdrawn from the handle.

NOTE!
Do not use knurled pliers to disconnect or
reconnect the fuel hose. This could dam-
age the hose and lead to leakage or frac-
ture.
Undo and remove the bolts that hold together the
filter holder, carburettor and intake tube.
Disconnect the fuel hose from the carburettor.
Remove the rubber inlet manifold, using pliers to lift
it upwards.
