Repair instructions
NOTE!
Take care to prevent dirt or foreign parti-
cles getting into the crankcase.
Piston and cylinder – removal

Remove the cylinder cover, carburettor (see page
31), silencer and spark plug.

Undo the four cylinder bolts and lift the cylinder off
carefully.

Cover the opening in the crankcase.

Remove the circlips from the ends of the gudgeon
pin and press it out. Then lift off the piston.
Unbolt the vibration damping spring from the front
hand grip cover.
