STARTING AND STOPPING
20 – English
Before starting
Connect the machine to the power unit.
Connect the power unit to a grounded outlet
Residual-current device
Make sure the ground fault circuit interrupter is
switched on.
Check the ground fault circuit interrupter. Refer to
instructions in the power unit operator’s manual.
Water connector
Connect the water hose to the water supply. The water
flow is activated by opening the check valve.
Starting
Grip the rear handle with your right hand.
Depress the throttle lockout and hold in the throttle.
Stopping
Stop the motor by releasing the throttle.
The motor can also be stopped by pressing the
emergency stop button on the power unit.
Turn off the tool.
Release the throttle trigger and allow the diamond
chain to stop completely.
Disconnect the machine from the power pack.
Unplug the power supply to the power pack.

WARNING! Note the following before
starting:
The machine’s power unit must be
connected to an earthed outlet socket.
Check that the mains voltage
corresponds with that stated on the
rating plate on the machine.
Make sure you have a secure footing and
that the chain cannot touch anything.
Keep people and animals well away from
the working area.
!
WARNING! Never use the machine
without the accompanying RCD.
Carelessness can result in serious
personal injury or even death.
CAUTION! Never operate the machine without coolant
as this will cause overheating.
