This section descr
ibes the machine´s safety equipment,
its purpose, and how checks and maintenance should be
carried out to ensure that it operates correctly.

ottle trigger lockout
The throttle tr
igger lockout is designed to prevent
accidental activation of the throttle.
When you press the lock (1) into the handle (i.e. when you
grasp the handle) it releases the throttle control (2).
When the grip on the handle is released, both the throttle
and throttle lockout return to their original positions. In this
position, the machine will stop and the throttle will be
locked.
Chec
king the throttle lockout
Make sure the power trigger is locked when the power
trigger lock is in its original position.
Press the throttle lockout and make sure it returns to
its original position when you release it.
Check that the power trigger and the power trigger
lockout move freely and that the return spring works
properly.
Hand guar
d
The hand guard pre
vents hands from coming into contact
with the moving cutting chain, for example, if the operator
loses grip on the front handle.
Chec
king the hand guard
Check that the hand guard is not damaged. Replace
the guard if damaged.
Co
ver, spray guard and rear right hand
guard
The co
ver and spray guard provide protection against
contact with moving parts, ejected debris, thrown water
and concrete slurry. The spray guard and rear right hand
guard are also design to catch the diamond chain if it
snaps or jump of.

king the cover, spray guard and rear right hand
guard
Ensure there are no cracks or holes from slurry
blasting in the cover and guards. Replace cover or
guards if damaged.
