Finishing work
Install the air filter box cover. ( p. 70)

12.26 Removing the main silencer
Warning
Danger of burnsThe exhaust system gets very hot when the vehicle is driven.
Allow the exhaust system to cool down before performing any work on the vehicle.
Preparatory work
Remove the right side cover. ( p. 74)

Main work
Remove screws

with the washers.
Pull off the main silencer at the rubber sleeve

and the
spring ring from the manifold.
