Intensifier Operation
Intensifier does not cycle.
On/Off valve for cutting head is off. Turn cutting head on.
Intensifier is disabled. Enable intensifier at display.
Defective shift valve or end of
travel proximity switch.
Replace if necessary.
One of the indicator pins is hung up
as shown by both proximity switch
lights on at the same time.
Disassemble and repair. Pins must move freely to bottom of
bore.
Proximity switch has failed.
Indicated by both proximity lights
being on at the same time.
Replace proximity switch.
Intensifier cycles and oil pressure okay but not enough pressure at head.
Clogged high-pressure filter. Replace HP element.
Partial obstruction in HP lines. Correct obstruction.
Worn hydraulic piston seal. Rebuild hydraulic center section.
Too much demand on pump. Reduce number or size of orifices.
Intensifier overstrokes or cycles unevenly.
