d = 1.2 * P(W) for 80 Mhz to 800 Mhz
d = 2.3 * P(W) for 800 Mhz to 2.5 Ghz
where P = maximum nominal output of
the transmitter in watts as per the
transmitter manufacturer’s specifications
and d = recommended safety distance in
metres (m).
The field strength of stationary radio
wireless transmitters should be lower
than the compliance level at all
frequencies, as shown by an on-site
examination. Interference is possible in
the vicinity of devices bearing the graphic
symbol “non-ionising radiation”.
