1) Lay the air baffles on top of the CPUs until they are properly seated, as shown in the following
gure.
2) When replacing either of the air baffles, make sure that they are free of fan cables or any small
components to prevent any damage.

CAUTION:
Do not let the air baffles press on the fan cables or any components as they
might damage them.
Remove or Replace the Fan Cover
This section covers how to access the fans, and remove the fan cover.
Note: Because the fans are hot-swappable, you do not have to power off the appliance before removing
the fan cover.
1. To remove the fan cover:, loosen the thumbscrew as shown in the following gure.

2. Pull up on thumbscrew and slide the fan cover forward to disengage fan cover pins from cover slots.
Then, lift the cover out and set it aside, as shown in the following gure.
