REMOVAL FROM SERVICE/WINTERIZATION
Self-contained Air-cooled ice machines
Special precautions must be taken if the ice machine is to
be removed from service for an extended period of time or
exposed to ambient temperatures of 32°F (00C) or below.
1. Disconnect the electric power at the circuit breaker or
the electric service switch.
2. Turn off the water supply.
3. Remove the water from the water trough.
4. Disconnect the drain and the incoming ice-making
water line at the rear of the ice machine.
5. Make sure no water is trapped inside the ice
machine's incoming water line, drain line, distribution
tube, etc.
