Why Icom Transceiver scan does not start?

If the scan function on your Icom Transceiver isn't starting, it could be due to a few reasons. First, check that all memory channels in the selected bank are programmed as “TAG” channels; if not, set the “TAG” settings of desired channels. Also, ensure that the squelch isn't open by setting the squelch level to tighten. Finally, make sure you have programmed at least 2 memory channels, as the scan function requires more than 2 memorized channels to start.
