MAINTENANCE

PREPARATION BEFORE SERVICING

Detach

the

power

cable

and turn

OFF

the

POWER

SWITCH

before

performing

any

work

the

receiver.

short

circuit

components

while

marking

adjustments.

Use an

insulated

tuning

tool

for

all

adjustments.

NOT

force

any

the

variable

components.

Tune

them

slowly

and

smoothly.

the

condition

connectors,

solder

joints

and screws when

adjustments

the

correct

tools

and

test

equipment.

10. Re-check

for

the

suspected

malfunction

with

the

POWER SWITCH ON.

Check

the

defective

circuit.

Measure

the

voltages

the

collector,

base and

emitter

each

transistor.
