TONEX Capture is specifically designed to suit two very important tasks while recording and producing guitar
tones: reamping and tone-capturing (using our AIMM technology).
Reamping is the practice of sending pre-recorded tracks to guitar/bass pedal effects and amplifiers so they can
be processed and recorded back in.
Tone-capturing, using IK’s proprietary technology AIMM, lets you capture and replicate any amplifier and/or
stomp (except modulations, reverbs and delays) so you can have all your favorite rigs inside your computer
and switch among them with just a click. You can also share your Tone Models and browse among all the Tone
Models available on ToneNET (tone.net), our tone-sharing platform available for free.
