Reamping with the amp head
Another option can be to record only the amp head and use it with an external impulse response loader or our
advanced Volumetric Impulse Response (VIR) cabinets.
To do so make the following connections and record from the LINE OUTPUT of TONEX Capture.
Make sure to set the TONEX Capture out switch properly.
• If you are connecting the preamp out or line output of your amplifier set it to LINE OUT.
• If you are connecting the power out or speaker output of your amplifier set it to POWER OUT.
This method keeps the impedance relationship between the amp and its cab intact to have the most faithful
recreation of your rig.
