MAINTENANCE
CHECK THE POWER STEERING FLUID FOR
ENGINES WITH INTEGRAL RESERVOIR
is procedure applies to boats equipped with power steering systems.
Because this process should be completed while the engine is cool (in order
to avoid burns), it is recommended that this check be completed prior to
starting the engine.
1. Center the steering and stop the engine.
2. Locate the power steering pump at the port side, front of the engine
and remove the ll cap with integrated dipstick (level gauge).
3. Proper uid level is at the FULL mark.
4. If necessary, add uid to specied level. Use only uid as outlined in
Engine Specications on page 11-1.

NOTICE: If power steering fluid is not visible, contact your Ilmor service
center immediately. Severe engine damage could occur.
NOTE: Power steering uid does not require changing.
