Symptoms of high blood sugar (hyperglycaemia):
■ Fatigue
■ Listlessness
■ Frequent urination and thirst
■ Weight loss
■ Weak muscles, leg cramps
■ Itchiness
■ Dizziness, vomiting, stomach ache
■ Acetone odour (like nail polish remover) in exhaled air
■ Unconsciousness
NOTE
If your blood glucose measurement value is less than 50 mg/dL
(2.8 mmol/L) or more than 250 mg/dL (14.0 mmol/L), contact your
specialist physician immediately.
