Domestic hot water request (if the optional
“3-way diverter valve for an external storage
tank” kit is installed).
When the main switch (S1) is ON it powers the integrated
board, that, by means of relay K2, controls the 3-way diverter
valve (M30) motor (M) that works until the limit switch opens
when the d.h.w. position is reached.
If the temperature measured by the d.h.w. NTC probe (B2)
is below the set parameter No. 1 “Domestic hot water set
value”, the integrated board enables the start of the ignition
cycle that proceeds in exactly the same way as for the central
heating mode.
When the ame is detected, fan speed increases so as to im-
mediately reach (if requested) the maximum d.h.w. value set
with parameter No. 24.
Subsequently modulation occurs with reference to the dier-
enc between the d.h.w. temperature set-point plus the value
set with parameter No. 21 and the system ow temperature
measured.
When the domestic hot water set-point is reached the burner
turns o and the post-ventilation function is activated for 30
seconds after which the d.h.w. post-circulation function is
activated for a time that can be set with parameter No. 33.
Re-ignition of the burner for the same request is inhibited for
a time that can be set with parameter No. 41.
Central heating antifreeze request.
When the temperature read by the ow NTC probe (B1)
drops below 7°C, the integrated board enables activation of
the boiler pump.
When the temperature read by the ow NTC probe (B1) drops
below 3°C, the board enables ignition of the boiler and keeps
the generator working with the burner at minimum output
until the boiler reaches a temperature of 10°C.
Domestic hot water antifreeze request (if the

If the temperature read by the d.h.w. NTC probe (B2) drops
below 3°C, the board enables ignition and keeps the generator
working with the burner at minimum output until the d.h.w.
probe detects a temperature of 10°C.
During operation, the water in the primary circuit remains
below 10°C because when this temperature is reached the
board switches the burner o.
“Chimneysweep” request.
With this function the technician is able to check the boiler’s
combustion parameters.
If this function is activated it forces the boiler to work at
maximum central heating output (set with parameter No. 22)
for 15 minutes.
In this mode all the adjustments are disabled and only the
overheating safety thermostat (E4) and the overheating limit
are working.
To start the chimneysweep function you have to press the
“MODE” and “+” keys simultaneously for two seconds: the
letter “H” appears on the display.
After all the checks have been done, deactivate the function
by pressing the “+” and “-” keys simultaneously for two
seconds.
