REGULATION
e verication operations of the CO
2
/O
2
must be carried out with the casing mounted, while the gas valve calibration
operations must be carried out with the casing open and removing the voltage from the appliance.
e calibrations described below must be carried out in the correct sequence and more precisely, rst the calibration of the CO
2
/
O
2
at maximum output and then the calibration of the CO
2
/O
2
at minimum output.
- PX42 Gas Valve
Calibration of the CO
2
at maximum output
Enter the chimney sweep mode without withdrawing DHW and set the output to maximum (99%).
To have an exact value of CO
2
in the ue, the technician must insert the sampling probe to the bottom of the sample point, then check that
the CO
2
value is that specied in the table (Ref. Par. 4.2), otherwise adjust the screw (Part. 12, Fig. 55) (gas ow rate regulator).
To increase the CO
2
value, turn the adjustment screw (Part. 12, Fig. 55) clockwise and vice-versa to decrease it.
At every adjustment variation on the screw (Part. 12, Fig. 55), it is necessary to wait for the boiler to stabilise itself at the value set (about 30
sec.).
Calibration of the CO
2
at minimum output
Aer setting the CO
2
to maximum power while keeping the chimney sweep function active and without drawing domestic water, set the
output to minimum (0%).
To have an exact value of CO
2
in the ue, the technician must insert the sampling probe to the bottom of the sample point, then check that
the CO
2
value is that specied in the table (Ref. Parag. 4.2), otherwise adjust the screw (Part. 3, Fig. 55) (O-Set regulator) aer removing
the cover cap.
To increase the CO
2
value, turn the adjustment screw (Part. 3, Fig. 55) clockwise and vice-versa to decrease it.
In the case where the calibration refers to O
2
the adjustment logic is reversed from the above for CO
2
.
- Gas Valve 848
Calibration of the CO
2
at maximum output
Enter the chimney sweep mode (Par. 3.17) without withdrawing DHW and set the output to maximum (99%).
To have an exact value of CO
2
in the ue, the technician must insert the sampling probe to the bottom of the sample point, then check that
the CO
2
value is that specied in the table (Ref. Par. 4)2, otherwise adjust the screw (Det. 5, Fig. 56) (gas ow rate regulator).
To increase the CO
2
value, turn the adjustment screw (Part. 5, Fig. 56) anti-clockwise and vice-versa to decrease it.
At every adjustment of the adjustment screw (Det. 5, Fig. 56), it is necessary to wait for the boiler to stabilise itself at the value set (about 30
sec.).
Calibration of the CO
2
at minimum output
Aer setting the CO
2
to maximum power while keeping the chimney sweep function active and without drawing domestic water, set the
output to minimum (0%).
To have an exact value of CO
2
in the ue, the technician must insert the sampling probe to the bottom of the sample point, then check that
the CO
2
value is as specied in the table (Ref. Par. 4.2), otherwise adjust the screw (Part. 3, Fig. 56) (O-Set controller) aer removing the
cover cap.
To increase the CO
2
value, turn the adjustment screw (Part. 3, Fig. 56) clockwise and vice-versa to decrease it.
In the case where the calibration refers to O
2
the adjustment logic is reversed from the above for CO
