Possible causes What to do

Timeout (non-specic). Check that the ethernet cable is connected correctly into your
card machine and modem/ network router.
Turn your card machine o and on by pressing

Check that the modem/port/network is working.
Check that you have an internet connection (e.g. try checking
your emails).
Check Dynamic Host Conguration Protocol (DHCP) is enabled on
your network.
Check relevant ports are opened for incoming and outgoing trac.
Make sure you can access the websites you need to and that they’re
not blocked by your service provider or any browser settings.
