Possible causes What to do

Timeout (non-specic). Check that the ethernet cable is connected correctly into your
card machine and modem/ network router.
Turn your card machine o and on by pressing

button.
Check that the modem/port/network is working.
Check that you have an internet connection (e.g. try checking
your emails).
Check Dynamic Host Conguration Protocol (DHCP) is enabled on
your network.
Check relevant ports are opened for incoming and outgoing trac.
Make sure you can access the websites you need to and that they’re
not blocked by your service provider or any browser settings.
