7.3 AUTOMATIC PROGRAM N°97 (DESCAILING UND CLEANING OF THE STEAM GENERATOR)
ATTENTION: THIS PROGRAM CAN BE STARTED ONLY ON OVENS PROVIDED WITH STEAM GENERATOR
All the models are equipped with an electronic sensor, that periodically indicates the need to carry out descailing cycle of the lime scale formed in the
steam generator that as noted, reduces performance with time, as well as the productivity, and can cause the boiler to function anomalously
Important note:
The ovens must be fed with water with a hardness between 4°-8° French degrees, therefore we recommend the installation of an
efficient decalcifier to keep the water hardness at the levels indicated.
The connection of the oven to the water main with water of a higher degree of hardness, leads to the formation of lime scale incrustations inside the
boiler, that can compromise its performance.
All the ovens with programmable control panel are supplied with
(XT Descailing)
system
for the automatic descailing of the cooking chamber, this system works only with the
power descailer “
DISPOINOX
” , supplied in cans.
DISPOINOX is the product advised by the manufacturer for this important
function, the descailing cycle has been studied and tested with this kind of
product, which is perfectly compatible with the materials of which the boiler
(steam generator) is made of.
THE MANUFACTURER DOESN’T ACCEPT ANY TYPE AND FORM OF COMPLAINT
REGARDING THE EFFICACY OF THE BOILER DESCAILING, IF YOU HAVEN’T
USED THE DESCAILER “DISPOINOX” ACCORDING TO THE MODALTIES AND
QUANTITIES INDICATED.
The blinking message “BOILER CLEANING” advises that it is necessary to carry out a
descailing cycle at the end of the working day, as follows:
1- Prepare the descailing solution according to the prescriptions of the supplier and
following the quantities mentioned in the table below 7.3 A
2- Select the program n°97 and press the button START. The electronic system will
provide automatically to do the cleaning and descailing cycle of the steam generator as follows:
Drainage of the water from the steam generator for a duration of 4 minutes - ;
When the drainage is over, the flashing message LOAD DETERGENT and PRESS START indicates the need to put manually the descailing
solution into the boiler after having unscrewed the cap on the top of the oven. After that press the button START/STOP.
Decantation phase for a duration of 30 minutes;
Repeated phases of loading and discharging of the boiler; when the steam generator reaches the max. pressure , the water is drained.
3- Carefully unscrew the cap of the safety valve (A) of fig.7.3 located on the top of the oven, the eventual exit of steam due to the boiler pressure from
the safety valve is to be considered normal, the cap will be completely unscrewed only when there is no more pressure.
Pour the descailing solution through the cap avoiding any contact with any part of the body. Then press the button START/STOP.
The cycle begins with a decantation phase of 30 minutes at a temperature of 50°C, during which the solution will melt all limestone incrustations.;
At the end of the decantation phase, there will be a phase of water loading and discharge.
4- Steam phase to eliminate all residues of the descailing solution (don’t introduce further detergents).
At the end of the program the message “stand-by” will appear on the graphic display.
Important note:
this program can never be interrupted, neither pressing STOP; when the cleaning of the
boiler is over we suggest to rinse the cooking chamber with the hand shower or to clean it with a cloth to
eliminate eventual residuals of the descailing solution.
Note
: if you open the door while the programs n°95 descailing; washing n°96; manual discharge n°97; end of work n°98 are on, the electronic system
will flash the message “CLOSE THE DOOR”.
When the door is closed, the cycles will start again their normal course.
