Assembling your file cabinet
STEP 1: Preparing the cabinet back and bottom
You n e ed:
1 Insert three wooden dowels (A) into the edges of the upper back brace (6). Be careful not to insert the dowels into
the KD bolt holes.
2 Insert two large KD cams (E) into the outside holes in the upper back brace (6).
A 7.8 × 30 mm wooden

6 Upper back brace
4 Bottom panel
8 Bottom front trim
18 Connection bar (4)
V KD 4 x 22
screw (8)
U 5.8 × 20 mm
wooden dowels (8)
5-1 Mid-cabinet horizontal brace
5-2 Mid-cabinet back brace
KD bolt hole. Do NOT insert dowels here.
Make sure that the arrow in
the cam housing is facing the
hole in the edge of the panel
