2. Server Building Block Configuration
Server building blocks are offered to give Intel customers the option to configure and assemble a unique server system from the basic components, allowing for
maximu customization. Each building block component and optional accessory is purchased separately. At a minimum, building up a functional server system
using building blocks will require the following:
• Intel® Server Chassis P4000 product family
• Intel® Server Board S2600CW product family
• Hot-swap or Fixed power supply module
NOTE: (The Intel® Server Chassis P4304XXMFEN2 already includes a fixed PSU, while the Intel® Server Chassis P4304XXMUXX requires the purchase
and installation of one or two Hot-Swap PSU)
• Power cord(s)
NOTE: Chassis shipped to the US & Canada will contain North American power cord(s).
• Processor(s)
• Memory
• Storage drives
• SATA cables
Optional Intel accessories that can be added include the following:
• SAS / SAS RAID support provided by either a - PCIe* add-in card or module + and appropriate SAS data cable(s).
• Intel® I/O Module
• Intel® Remote Management Module 4 Lite
