8. 16-SEGMENT LED METER
This 16-segment peak response level meter shows Subgroup
or Auxiliary output level. The signal displayed is selected with
the METER SELECT switch in the monitor section.
9. AUXILIARY MASTER
- MASTER LEVEL
The AUX signal level sent from each channel is controlled by
this potentiometer, which has +10dB gain at the fully-
clockwise position, and unity at 0 position.
- AFL
Connects the AUX output signal to monaural AFL bus.
- GRP/AUX FLIP
Reverses output of Sub-group and Auxiliary together. The
signal sent from the channel to GRP1, for example, is routed
to AUX1 output via the AUX1 master. The AUX1 signal from
the channel is routed to GRP1 via INSERTION and the
associated fader.
Your IMX-800 SERIES console has been designed with maximum flexibility in mind. It is
equally adept to working in both Front of House and monitor mixing situations. For FOH
mixing, it is often desirable to arrange channels using subgroups, to simplify mixing. On the
other hand, monitor engineers prefer to have more control over Auxiliary outputs. To meet the needs of
both scenarios, the IMX-800 SERIES allows either the Aux or Group outputs to use the long-throw faders
and inserts. This is done for each output using the FLIP control.
Please take care when using this control, as the physical output and insert sockets are also affected by
your selection. See above for more details.
