CAUTION
Work on gas carrying parts may only be carried out by
a qualified competent person.
If a different type of gas is connected to the appliance than that for which the appliance
has been set by the manufacturer, the gas metering ring should be replaced. Conversion
sets for other types of gas are available to order.
Converting the gas restriction
1. Switch the boiler off and isolate the boiler from the mains power.
2. Close the gas tap.
3. Remove the front cover from the appliance.
4. Unscrew the coupling (1) above the gas valve and turn the gas mixing tube (2)
towards the rear.
5. Replace the O-ring (3) and the gas restriction (4) with the rings from the
conversion set.
6. Make sure the O-ring is mounted correctly around the gas restriction ring
7. Re-assemble in reverse sequence.
8. Open the gas tap.
9. Check the gas connections before the gas valve for gas-tightness.
10. Switch on the mains power.
11. Check the gas connections after the gas valve for gas-tightness (during
operation).
12. Now check the setting of the CO
2
percentage at high setting and low power as
described in § 10.7, “Checking CO
2
setting” and, when necessary § 10.8,
“Adjusting CO
2
setting”.
CAUTION
It is not possible to adjust the CO
2
percentage at high setting.
When the CO
2
percentage at high setting is not within the
prescribed tolerance band please contact Intergas Heating.
13. Place a sticker for the gas type set over the existing sticker next to the gas
valve.
14. Place a sticker for the gas type set next to the identification plate.
15. Reposition the front cover.
