Charging and Installing the Battery
Make sure you fully charge the AB6 battery before using your
CK32 I-Safe.
To charge the battery
• Insert the battery into the AC11 4-slot battery charger.
Charging time is approximately 10 to 12 hours.
To install the battery
• Insert the tabs on the bottom of the charged battery into the
CK32 I-Safe and snap the battery into place.
Inserting the AB6 Battery
You must suspend your CK32 I-Safe before removing the
battery, or data loss may occur.

Explosion Hazard – Use Intermec battery pack Model AB6
only. It is rated as Intrinsically Safe but it MUST NOT BE
CHANGED while in a Class II or Class III environment. The
battery can be changed in a Class I (gas) environment.
Class I, II, and III apply only to the US and Canada. For most
other countries, the battery can be changed in Group II G
environments but not in Group II D environments.
