PB22 and PB32 Mobile Label and Receipt Printer: You need to clean these
parts regularly.
Cleaning the Printhead
Clean the printhead every five rolls of media to prolong the life of the
printhead and ensures that you maintain high print quality.
Clean the printhead with the cleaning swab. The cleaning swab is
shipped with the printer and can also be purchased separately from
www.intermec.com.
To clean the printhead
1 Open the media cover.
2 Remove the media and ribbon.
3 Use the cleaning swab or cleaning pen to dissolve any
contamination on the line of heat-emitting objects at the front/
bottom of the printhead.
4 Wait 30 seconds and carefully rub off any contamination.
Use only the cleaning agents specified in this section. Intermec
is not responsible for damage caused by any other cleaning
materials used on this printer.

Note: The cleaning swab is the recommended method for cleaning the
printhead and platen roller. Using other methods for cleaning may
damage the printer.
