Thismobilitydevicewasdesignedforpersonswhoseability
towalkisimpaired,butwhoarestillintermsoftheir
eyesightandphysicallyandmentallyabletooperatean
electricmobilitydevice.
1.4Indications
Theuseofascooterisadvisableforpersons:
•whoseabilitytowalkisimpaired,or
•whosebalanceisimpaired,or
•whocannotwalklongdistances,or
•whocannotdrivevehiclessuchascars,bikesor
mopeds.
Theusermusthaveenoughupperbodystrengthtositon
ascooterseat.Theusermustbeabletoproperlyoperate
anelectromotivedriveunit.
Contraindications
Therearenocontraindicationsknown.
1.5Typeclassication
ThisvehiclehasbeenclassiedaccordingtoEN12184as
aclassAmobilityproduct.Thismeansitisacompact,
manoeuvrablevehiclemainlyforinternalusewithrestricted
capabilitiesforoneormoreofthefollowingfeaturesin
outdoorareas:
•ratedslope(3degrees)
•obstacleclimbing(50mm)
•lighting(nolightoption)
•driverange(21km)
•groundclearance(30mm)

1.6Regulations
ThevehiclewassuccessfullytestedaccordingtoGerman
andinternationalstandardsastoitssafety.Itsatises
therequirementsaccordingtoRoHS2011/65/EU,REACH
1907/2006/ECandDINEN12184includingEN1021-2and
ISO7176–14.Itwasalsotestedsuccessfullyaccordingto
EN60529IPX4astoitsresistancetospraywater,andis
thereforewellsuitedforweatherconditionssuchastypical
Europeanweatherconditions.Whenequippedwithan
appropriatelightingsystem,thevehicleissuitableforuse
onpublicroads.
1.7Warranty
Thetermsandconditionsofthewarrantyarepartofthe
generaltermsandconditionsparticulartotheindividual
countriesinwhichthisproductissold.
1.8Servicelife
Weestimateaservicelifeofveyearsforthisproduct,
provideditisusedinstrictaccordancewiththeintended
useassetoutinthisdocumentandallmaintenanceand
servicerequirementsaremet.Theestimatedservicelifecan
beexceedediftheproductiscarefullyusedandproperly
maintained,andprovidedtechnicalandscienticadvances
donotresultintechnicallimitations.Theservicelifecan
alsobeconsiderablyreducedbyextremeorincorrectusage.
Thefactthatweestimateaservicelifeforthisproductdoes
notconstituteanadditionalwarranty.
