NOTES:
1. In this test we saturate CT the magnetic material. The slow
decrease of the voltage has the purpose of de-magnetizing it. If
the return to zero is too fast, the CT saturation curve would be
distorted. The following pictures show: the correct CT saturation
curve, the saturation curve of the same CT after the voltage has
been decreased too fast, the two curves superimposed.
2. If your CT is rated at 50 Hz, and your supply is at 60 Hz, the
nominal voltage knee is 1.2 times bigger than the one at 50 Hz.
