3 LINE IMPEDANCE TESTS
With this selection, the following screen is displayed.
3.1 LINE IMPEDANCE MEASUREMENT
When this test is selected, the following menu is displayed.
Purpose of this test is to measure the impedance of the line under
test, in module and argument. The connection to be performed is
shown on the screen: the 10 A output, used as a voltage source,
is connected to two phases, that are short-circuited on their end.
Considering an average value of 0.2 Ohm/km, that becomes 0.4
Ohm/km as there are two lines in series, the following table lists
the average line impedance and test current as a function of line
length.
