C) Input connection, voltage more than 10 V:
- N. 2 measurement cables.
- N. 2 Clamps.
Cables shall be connected while T 2000 is powered-off. If the test
voltage is above 50 V, take the precautions so that conductors
are not touched during the test.
Input in the screen the secondary voltage, phase to neutral or
phase to phase, and the selected voltage output range. Select
also if the voltage drop has to be measured, and to which input it
is connected.
Press the ON button, and adjust the test current to the desired
value, by the adjustment knob (6); the screen shows:
. The test current;
. The corresponding voltage drop across the burden;
. The phase angle between current and voltage;
. The corresponding power factor;
. The VA rating of the burden, at the nominal voltage. This value
is computed, and it is not just the product of the above measured
current and voltage; so, it does not change very much with the
test current.
When you are satisfied of the result, press SAVE: test result is
saved. Return to zero the adjustment knob (6), and STOP the
test.
