1.2.2: VT tests: burden, secondary side
When this test is selected, the following menu is displayed.
Purpose of the test is to measure the VT burden, to verify that it
does not exceed the limits. This test is performed applying voltage
to the burden, after having disconnected the transformer
secondary side, and measuring the secondary voltage and phase
angle.
The applied voltage can be measured at the T 2000 output
sockets; however, if the test current is high and it is desired to
increase the test accuracy eliminating the voltage drops along the
connection cables, it is possible to measure the voltage drop on
the burden, by enabling the external measurement input.
The connection diagram is the following.
