Ensure that fuel lines are always protected from contamination by
foreign material. When installing or servicing, seal off ends to
prevent contamination. After installing, you may also wish to flush
the fuel line to rid it of air and any foreign material.
4.4 Procedure
To complete the fuel system installation:
Install an inline fuel filter. The optimal location is on a
compartment wall next to the Oasis SCH33, inline
between the fuel tank and the Oasis SCH33.
Connect the fuel line to the dedicated pick-up fitting on the
main diesel fuel tank.
Inspect the supply fuel line and clamps for loose
connections or damage. Threaded fittings must be airtight.
If desired, install a shut-off valve on the tank side of the
fuel filter to allow shutdown and filter service.
Fuel line installation and all fuel line connections should
follow RVIA standards and normal fuel line installation
practices.
