10.11 3 - Fuel Pump/Solenoid
The fuel pump or fuel solenoid has shorted.
• The burner will shut down.
• The diagnostic code, 3 will be displayed.
• The buzzer will sound for 10 seconds.
• The control board will purge the system with the combustion
fan and circulating pump for two minutes.
• In order to restart the burner, check the fuel pump and
solenoid for a short circuit, then reset the fault by switching the
service switch OFF then ON again.
The remote panel switch does not reset short circuit faults.
10.12 4 - Igniter
The igniter is open or shorted
• The burner will shut down.
• The diagnostic code 4 will be displayed.
• The buzzer will sound for 10 seconds.
• The control board will purge the system with the combustion
fan and circulating pump for two minutes.
• In order to restart the burner, check the igniter and its
connections. Then reset the fault by switching the service
switch or the remote panel switch OFF then ON again. Note
that diagnostic code 4 will be displayed if the ignitor is open or
shorted.
• The remote panel switch does not reset a short circuit fault.
